November 19th: Angus Young of AC/DC is interviewed on XM/Sirius Satellite radio during the Opie and Anthony show, and the topic of tribute bands comes up, LIVE WIRE is mentioned to Angus and how the band is now worldwide. Angus said if they can make money at it more power to them!
October 25th: LIVE WIRE, chosen by SonyBMG/Columbia Records and AC/DC Management to perform for all of the winners of the AC/DC ROCK N ROLL CARAVAN CONTEST and winners of all of the other official AC/DC Contests Saturday night in Plains, PA, the night before AC/DC Launches their world tour in Wilkes-Barre, PA, performing a secret dress rehearsal show for fans only! WE SALUTE YOU!!
October 19th: LIVE WIRE drummer Billy R won the AC/DC ROCK N ROLL CARAVAN CONTEST! Check out Billy's AC/DCVAN info page which will have videos, and also further info for fans to win tickets to AC/DC's SECRET SHOW taking place at an undisclosed location on Sunday, October 26th before the start of their BLACK ICE world tour which starts on Tuesday, October 28th in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania!
AND.....LIVE WIRE was chosen to perform a special SECRET SHOW on Saturday night, October 25th for all of the AC/DC FAN WINNERS of the secret show contest- taking place also at a top secret location!
