We all lead busy lives and Lent is like God's invitation to us to slow down and put God first. We make room for this spiritual renewal program Renew 2000 and we grow closer to God -- as individuals and as a community.

RENEW 2000 will take place for six weeks starting the week of February 27 and the meetings last for an hour and a half. RENEW 2000 takes place in small groups of about 8 people and takes place in people's homes so the meetings can take place on any day at any time that people want to meet. Our parish will provide a trained person to help lead the group.

In our Diocese over 20,000 people participated in a RENEW 2000 group this past fall and found it to be an experience that fed their soul. They discovered that in the midst of the whirlwind of life there was a quiet place where a small group of people could meet and talk about the important and meaningful things in their lives.
