We are a Catholic
Community in Hauppauge, NY. We're located in central Suffolk County
(Long Island). The mission of our Web Site is to allow those from our community who are far away, either due to a move or perhaps to being at college, to stay in touch with what is happening. We also serve the broader Internet community by helping all to learn a little about our faith, our customs and our activities. We hope to keep this site fresh and up-to-date, and we always welcome your comments. |

The parish began
in 1967. Mass was held in a converted casket factory in our local
industrial park (The Factory Of Love) for 5 years before our
first church was built.
Our first pastor was now-Msgr. Robert Kirwin. He worked wonders during his time with us to get the parish and the new church off to a good start. The church was designed to be a "Multi- Purpose Center" so that not only Mass but other meetings could be held there. Recently, we found that our activities were becoming so numerous that it was time to build a new church. The new building is attached to the Parish Center, and we now have permanent worship and meeting space. The new building was first occupied during Advent of 1996. |
