Regular Meditation Thought, Prayer and Question

Each month we post a meditation thought, prayer and question here. It is the hope and prayer of the Men's Gathering that this will be an aid in our support of each other on the journey. It is also our hope that those men who cannot attend our monthly meetings can become involved through this website.

After reading the meditation thought and prayer, you are welcome to send a response to the question either to the Gathering Leader or to the entire group by using the "send response" button. Meditation Thought

Where is heaven? The kingdom of heaven is within you (Luke 17:21). Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. If you have found Jesus, and where Jesus is, it is heaven.

Prayer:

Lord, open my mind to understand Scripture and to receive as one of the simple ones who made you glad.

Question:

How would you feel if you knew that Jesus was sitting in the next ready to lead you into His world? Would you feel excitement? Expectation? Awe? Openness? Do you approach Scripture like this?
