The
Holy Way
"A highway shall be there and it shall be called the Holy Way"
Isaiah
35:8
WHO WE ARE:
Christian life and ministry never
rises above the level of our worship. Spiritual ministry begins and is
carried out in the presence of God. The Holy
Way is dedicated to worship in the Holy of
Holies. This invariably leads to powerful ministry in the Spirit.
The Holy Way
encourages people to gather around Jesus like His first set of disciples,
enjoying His fellowship, learning His ways, being a part of the mighty
move of God that is happening worldwide in preparation for His coming.
We worship in the Spirit with the gifts of the Spirit.
Often we meet God in the silence of eternity; other times we join with
the high praises of the angels around His throne. We
allow Jesus to disciple us. He leads us out into a
variety of ministry where we see what He is doing and learn to take part.
The Holy Way is
beginning to build worship centers in several places where people can gather
and be with Jesus and then to go forth into ministry in the power of the
Spirit.
WHAT WE ARE CALLED TO DO:
We are called
to fulfill the Great Commission that Jesus left with His disciples just
before He ascended. This means doing what Jesus did
and trained His first disciples to do -- heal the sick,
cast out demons, preach the Gospel in divine authority.
OUR PRAYER:
Lord, you
have given us trust to tell the world the message of Salvation. Let us
be faithful with that trust and to use it for
your own Glory. Put your word in our mouths and light to our feet to go
bring The Good Tidings for the whole nations and all tribes. For you alone
are Lord and King, the power and dominion are yours
forever. Amen.
OUR FAITH:
We affirm the statements of the Nicene
Creed as the Church has received it. We regard
the Bible as a very practical book to show us how our lives and ministries
can be most effective. We like to see that Jesus still
does and teaches the same miraculous, redeeming works as are described
in the New Testament.
Psalm 40:1-4
"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and
heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out
of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place
to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of
praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put
their trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust,
who does not look to the proud, to those who turn
aside to false gods."
