The Fun Never Stops - 2003

We actually took the winter off from working on the Mill, since we were selling our Co-op and buying a house, and had lots of other thins to do back on the Sandbar...uh.. Long Island. We closed on the house in late April, and moved in May. To escape from the madness of packing/moving/unpacking/packing/moving/unpacking/etc, we decided to head north, and work some on the Mill during Memorial Day weekend. We accomplished 3 major (well, 2 major and one minor) thing during the rainy 4 days.

Hot water!

Kitchen Floor (sanded,stained and sealed)

New old (but large) Window
Mom had replaced her wood-frame sliding glass doors, so I took the fixed glass panel, and put it in the wall as a six foot high window, overlooking the river. Now, as you walk in the front door, you can look all the way out back and see the river. I plan to sit in my recliner, right there, and watch the water. :)
